Property Maintenance and Building Services did our large kitchen extension and new en-suite on our bungalow  in 2015/16 and everything was done by them from planning to completion and the work was excellent and the extension looked excellent when completed and on time I may add.

We are very happy with this work and Gary worked very hard to complete this on time and to the best specifications.

The extension was really hassle free for us with Gary taking on all the responsibility and all we had to do was pick the fixtures etc and pay the bills.

It was as easy as that for us but obviously a lot harder for Gary.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Property Maintenance and Building Services for any building work and I know any client will get a very professional job from Gary and his workers.

 I would recommend Gary for any home improvement works you may have, he recently converted my brothers bungalow from a two bedroom to a one bedroom, he removed walls, built walls, put new kitchen with all appliances built in, wet room, wood flooring, built an external ramp so my brother had access out of the bungalow in his electric wheelchair, nothing was a problem for Gary and he turned it all round in just over 5 weeks, amazing job once finished and I would highly recommend Gary and his work

 It is now 5 years since our kitchen was transformed by Gary, it looks as good now as when it was first installed. If you are looking for help with the design of a new kitchen or replacement to an original design and you want the highest quality then look no further. Our family bathroom and En-suite were also transformed by Gary and are fantastic. Many tradesmen can fit new suites cupboards etc but it’s the attention to detail that makes Gary’s work stand out and last.

In the early hours of Friday 4 March 2011 the smoke alarms in our home were activated when the dishwasher in the kitchen caught fire. Because we had no electricity the Fire Brigade were able to tackle the fire with water. They said we had been very lucky to escape with our lives another ten minutes and it may have been a different story. The scene that greeted us when were able to go back in was unbelievable. Everything was Black in the kitchen and we lost everything in it, even the ceiling had to come down. The adjacent utility room was also very badly smoke damaged along with most other areas of our much loved home. It really was our worst nightmare. Where do you start to put your broken home back together? Because looking at it, we didn't think it would ever be right again. So when someone we had only known for a few months said, and I quote, I know of a good builder called Gary Allen, he's a little gem we were delighted. She immediately rang him and within the hour Gary was knocking on our door to offer not just practical support but moral support. He explained everything that would need to be done and the order in which it would be carried out. Adding, if we would like him to do the rebuild he also had a reliable painter, electrician etc that would assist when necessary. So, we moved out into a nearby hotel and from that day on we didn't have one worry. Gary kept us up to speed on a daily basis. He also went with us to various kitchen stockists to make sure we would get the kitchen we wanted. He discussed the lighting, wall tiles and flooring that would need to be replaced along with paint colours etc. The assessor said we should be back in the house in six weeks, but with just a few little bits to finish Gary had us back in four. He even told us to go away for a pre-arranged weeks holiday and not to worry. We came back to a transformed kitchen that Home and Garden would be proud of and one our home deserve.

We had renovation work done by Property Maintenance & Building Services which included a ground floor single story extension,downstairs cloakroom and shower room,full kitchen rip out and renewal ,full bathroom rip out and renewal and a block paved patio and garden path,most under building regulations.The work included structural alterations such as blocking up doorways and creating others,and the laying of an oak floor throughout the ground floor,as well as lots of other jobs associated with the renovation.We also had fitted wardrobes installed.The work done by Property Maintenance & Building Services was of a very high standard and all our neighbour's and family were astounded as to the finished product and the fact that such a large renovation was completed in such a short space of time with no inconvenience to them. We are absolutely delighted with the end product.Like all building work,problems were uncovered and Gary dealt with every one.Our son has also used Property Maintenance & Building Services with the same results,and we are both delighted.
